Subject: Summit and still alive
We made it to the top of Huyana Picchu, the mountain that towers over Machu Picchu...Gerson and I were numbers 10 and 11 to set out on the trek, and were numbers 2 and 3 to reach the top of the mountain. We made a friend, Santiago from Ecuador, who beat us by 15 seconds...we had a good five minutes before anyone else began to show up at the top..and no joke...a stray dog, and perhaps the coolest in all of Peru, was #5 to the summit.
